Update message

“The James Lind Alliance (JLA) Childhood Deafness and Hearing Loss Priority Setting Partnership, a collaborative effort between the University of Manchester, the National Deaf Children’s Society, Aston University, and Lancaster University, is pleased to announce the completion of our first survey. From April to July, we have collected 1255 initial priority questions from 455 respondents via the different versions of the survey, allowing children, young people, and adults to have their voices heard.

We will launch our second survey in November, which will allow participants to rank the summarized unanswered questions from the current survey by importance. Early next year, we will hold a face-to-face workshop to prioritize the top 10 identified uncertainties about childhood deafness and hearing loss through consensus. Your ongoing support is invaluable to advancing paediatric hearing research! Stay tuned!”
