As you may already know, our Tip Kits are ‘tips’ written by deaf children to educate others on how to be more inclusive and deaf aware during activities…in this case parties. The tips are easy to read, fun to look at, offer good practical advice and can be shared at the touch of a button. This tip kit joins the others in the series: School Trip, Sleep Over, Play Date and Water Play.
As the end of the term is upon us, more children will be celebrating over the festive season and so it is the perfect time to remind others of the ways they can make parties and events enjoyable for deaf children and indeed everyone!
Who should use it
1) share the link below with parents/families/carers/friends of deaf children so they can send it on to anyone involved in water based activities over the summer.
2) as a practitioner, download the Tip Kit and share it with schools and clubs who you know will be working with deaf children over the festive period.
How to use it
3) we recommend using the Tip Kit digitally (email or WhatsApp) but the Kit can be printed and shared if needed .
4) it can be downloaded for free from our website or shared directly as a PDF.
