A message from Ian Noon of the NDCS:
We (NDCS, BATOD and other organisations) received a commitment from the Secretary of State for Education last autumn that guidance on face coverings in education would be amended to say that clear face masks should be considered if working with deaf children. As yet, the Government has not followed through on this commitment.
We have set up a campaign action for our members to ask their MP to raise this issue with the Secretary of State.
