A full time Teacher of the Deaf is required to join the Wirral Sensory Service for September 2024 or earliest in the autumn term. Pay up to UPS 3 plus full SEN allowance for qualified candidates. The Service works peripatetically out of its own offices which are situated in Claremount Sports College.

You must have Qualified Teacher Status of the Deaf and ideally possess British Sign Language, level 3. We are looking for outstanding teachers of the deaf who are committed to ensuring every deaf child reaches their full potential and are creative and innovative in their teaching. Are you resilient and able to demonstrate a positive caring attitude. If you are highly organised and able to plan, model and deliver outstanding teaching we would love to hear from you.

Highly experienced teachers with extensive Primary school experience and outstanding practice may also be considered.
