Sue Board 1949-2004

Stan Cornelius in Wales shares thoughts of Sue.

Sue died peacefully at home with her family on the 28th September 2004, after a brave and determined fight against her illness.

Sue was a well-loved and respected member of BATOD Wales, she was a member of the committee of the Wales Region for a number of years before, only recently, having to resign due to her illness. She represented BATOD on the Wales Council for the Deaf and RNID (Cymru) just to mention a few of the activities that she crowded in to a very busy professional life.

All her friends and colleagues, who admired her, will sadly miss her for her dedication and professionalism. But she will be remembered most of all for her friendly smile and genuine warmth and kindness that she gave to everyone.

Our sincere sympathy goes to all her family, but we know that the loving memories they have of Sue will help them and support them always.
