We are extremely grateful to the students and college for all their hard work to get out key scam awareness messages for this campaign and anticipate these will be the first of many going forward.
Over the last few months we have been working with the college on a scheme of work to raise awareness of financial capability and consumer education knowledge and skills, in order to avoid scams, loan sharks, money mules etc… We have designed a scheme of work that will continue on into the next academic term for the students, but also for them to consider how they can develop peer to peer messaging, which is how this piece of work has come about.”
