What is the YAB?
The YAB is where deaf young people aged 13 to 16 can come together to:
- Provide insight and advice on projects, campaigns, and services.
- Develop leadership and advocacy skills.
- Build friendships and connections within the deaf community.
- Have a real impact on issues that matter to them, shaping the future of SignHealth’s Children and Young People services and support.
Who can join?
We are looking for deaf young people who:
- Are passionate about making a difference
- Want to gain new skills and experiences.
- Are excited to work with like-minded peers in a supportive and inclusive environment.
