Deaf children constitute a widely heterogenous group with different individual experiences and contexts. In this session, Nathalie and Elettra highlight the importance of a context sensitive multilingual multimodal approach to support children’s communication and language development. They will present two individual research projects that were conducted in collaboration with the Yorkshire Auditory Implant Service at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, NHS Foundation Trust.
