Ofcom is pleased to invite you to a virtual event on Ofcom’s approach to online media literacy. Ofcom’s Chief Executive Dame Melanie Dawes will introduce highlights from our recent publication alongside myself and the Making Sense of Media team.
The free online event will be held on Friday, 21 January from 10:30-11:45.
We will present our vision and workplan across five areas: engaging with a wide range of media literacy practitioners; initiating pilot trials and campaigns to promote media literacy, establishing best practice design principles for media literacy; providing guidance on evaluation and evidence of what works, and researching the state of media literacy and sharing our evidence base.
Recognising the wealth of expertise and interest in these areas, the event will be interactive, and we’re looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences.
Please register to join the event.
