Music & the Deaf Workshop – Part 2

Create musical responses to two historic hospitals that treat the sensory organs (ears, noses, throats, balance and teeth). Explore medical curios such as the anechoic egg & Victorian operating theatre, and the stories behind them.

Led by Deaf musician Danny Lane. Bilingual – British Sign Language & English.

Supported by creative oral history productions group On the Record.

No experience required. Open to d/Deaf and hearing people.

Music created through these workshops will form part of a digital artwork created by the Sonic Notes project – an aural & visual history of the Royal National Throat Nose & Ear & Eastman Dental Hospitals.
