This August UCL is hosting an online Discover UCL Summer School for D/deaf and Hard of Hearing Students.
The summer school will take place between Tuesday 11th August and Friday 14th August.
This free online programme is exclusively for D/deaf and hard of hearing students in year 11 and year 12, that will give them the chance to find out more about UCL and life at university.
As an organisation that works with members of the D/deaf and Hard of Hearing community we would be grateful if you could share this programme with your stakeholders.
The summer school will consist of a variety of advice and guidance sessions that will help to prepare participants for applying to university, writing a personal statement and navigating the UCAS process. Participants will also get an insight into study at higher education, and learn about what support is available for D/deaf and Hard of Hearing students and how it can be accessed.
UCL will provide specialised support including BSL Interpreters for the duration of the summer school. Due to the high level of support provided there will be a limited number of places.
The deadline for applications has been extended to Thursday 25th June.
