“They need the Government to add ‘Deaflympics’ to their funding policy alongside Olympics and Paralympics to enable Deaf people access funding to compete at Deaflympics and elite competitions. If this is achieved it would open up unlimited possibilities for the future young aspiring Deaf athletes and coaches etc who currently receive no support at all. This ultimately affects all young Deaf children and their families.”
