See details of a “casting call for a BBC Films feature film set in the UK, that is going to be directed by wonderful Deaf Writer and Artist Louise Stern.
The film is set within a Deaf community and will shoot in early 2025 in the UK.
We are currently looking for a Deaf mixed-race girl aged 7-12 years who can sign to play a key role in the film. We are looking for a child with some afro/caribbean and white heritage.”
The young person “doesn’t need to have any acting experience whatsoever.”
