This is an exciting opportunity to undertake training in the Family Partnership Model which is a framework that integrates the use of core helping skills and qualities with the processes of a goal orientated approach.
This course promotes and facilitates the development of genuine and respectful partnerships. It also provides a vehicle for exploring difficulties, encouraging independence and helping families to develop problem management approaches.
The 5 day course will be delivered by facilitators from The Centre for Parent and Child Support and will offer a chance to explore, confirm, develop understanding and practice in knowledge and skills used to facilitate the Family Partnership Model in practice.

Consider the theoretical and skills base for the Family Partnership Model.
Confirm, develop, enhance abilities to engage parents in partnership working.
Confirm, develop, enhance skills and qualities when working with families.
Use a clear framework supporting those working closely with parents
Develop and enhance understanding and skills to maintain purposeful relationships.
Enable participants to support parents in exploring and identifying difficulties and strengths, and planning for positive change.
