“As you might know, we are part of deaf together – a collaborative movement to end the inequalities deaf people face.
To improve deaf people’s health, can we focus only on mental health or access to the NHS? No! Our health can also be improved by better housing, clean environment, good education and many other issues.
Based on research and feedback from the community, deaf together have decided to begin with a focus on inequalities in employment. They have created a survey to build evidence on what needs to change to make work more accessible and inclusive.
