“Researchers at Coventry University are looking for hearing parents to take part in a study on parent’s experiences of bonding with their child born deaf/hard of hearing. Participation will involve meeting with the lead researcher, Evy Paterson for a 60-minute interview, online if you wish, about your experiences. To be eligible for the study you must be living in the United Kingdom, not have any hearing difficulties yourself, be a first-time parent/carer of a child who was born deaf/hard of hearing, be over the age of 18 years old and be able to speak and understand English.

It is hoped that by broadening our understanding of parents bonding experiences, we can better support families with additional needs.
