Independence: Get Ready For Your Future
Is your young person getting ready for the next step in their life and want to become more independent? Then this event is for them. There will be a variety of advice, support and top tips. To meeting deaf role models, who will share their experiences and give an insight into becoming independent.
During the in person day event we will focus on the following topics:
Independent Living, leaving home for the first time
Money Management, how to budget and keep track of money
Technology, what technology is available for the home and workspace
Preparing for College, University and employment
Your Rights, access to communication support
