Research project request – Seeking parents to ask about their experiences around the time of identification of a sensory impairment

Posted in News

Request from a Trainee Clinical Psychologist with Coventry University

“I am undertaking a research project which involves asking parents about their experiences around the time that their child was diagnosed with a sensory impairment (being deaf, blind, or deafblind).”

Are you a parent of a child born with hearing loss, vision loss, or multi-sensory difficulties?
Are you interested in talking about your personal experiences?

“We are looking for volunteers to be involved in research that aims to understand parent’s experiences immediately following their child’s diagnosis of sensory impairment.”

Click here for a link to a downable advert for the research project which can be distributed. It outlines the requirements to take part in the study and includes contact information should parents wish to volunteer to take part.

If you are interested in taking part or require more information please contact the lead researcher
