About this Event
Please note this is an asynchronous event – the dates: 15th-24th March, is the period of time that the CPD event is available for you to access at your own convenience.
Taking the place of VIEW’s annual face to face conference, this virtual CPD training event will bring together an exciting line up of leading experts in the field.
Through a series of pre-recorded talks, and the chance to engage with speakers and participants, there will be plenty of opportunities to gain valuable knowledge and consider new ways of supporting children and young people with vision impairment.
The event will be available to delegates for ten days, so you can watch the video talks, and participate in the forums at your convenience.

The importance of the creative arts for individuals with vision impairment – Kenny Cowle – PhD researcher within the school of Visual Communication at Birmingham City University – focusing specifically on developing new understandings of Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI) through the use of photography
What makes inclusive education work: Perspectives and advice from students in Australia with a vision impairment, their parents and teachers – Melissa Fanshawe (University of Southern Queensland) and Dr Melissa Cain (Australian Catholic University)
