This day has been designed to give professionals an overview of the range of hearing technology currently available and being used with children and adults with a variety of types of hearing loss. Manufacturers of hearing aids, cochlear implants, BCHIs and radio aids will be holding hands-on workshops providing opportunities to handle the latest devices as well as being able to get answers from the experts. Our aim for the day is that people go away feeling more confident about how to trouble shoot and with a greater awareness of the range of technologies available.
Currently confirmed are representatives from Advanced Bionics, MED-EL, Oticon Medical, Front Row, Phonak and Starkey.
